Well i just came from the hair dresser and i got my hair cut and my hair dresser told me my hair would grow faster and i didn't understand it either, but now i do. When you get your hair cut even you hair grows twice as long because you cut all those dead ends off. As long as you keep cutting the dead ends off your hair will continue to grow. Thats a myth. The hair at the end (that you cut off) is actually dead, so it makes no difference to the rate your hair grows at or the thickness. Having it trimmed stops the splits from working further up the hair shaft, so you save yourself from having to get a lot more cut off later. If you get your hair cut every six weeks there is not much chance of growing it longer. To do that you have to really persevere and look after your hair until iit grows.
