Okay about a year ago I shaved my arms. I decided I did not want to do this anymore so i stopped. I was wondering if my hair will ever grow back the way it was? Soft and ley down flat. How long will it take for my hair to be soft again? I do not want to remove the hair ever again I want to let it grow so dont give me advise on how to remove as I will not remove it. Someone told me about the hair regrowth cycle and that my arms will be back to the way they were. I am hopeing this is true. Anyone who has stopped shaving their arms please help me. Any and all answer are welcome but please be serious as I am truly seeking help.

Yes, hon, the hair grows back. It is soft hair. It only feel prickly because it is too short. It doesn't grow as fast as the hair on your head and also has an outside limit to the length.

Give it 3 months.

It's kinda like when you overpluck your eyebrows, or try to grow out a short haircut; you just have to commit to suffering for a while before it gets to the point that you want it to be.

The only reason it's bristley is b/c when you shave you creat a sharp edge; the hair itself is not any thicker (otherwise people would use that as a means to grow thicker hair on other parts of their bodies, like their head). Just leave it alone for a good two weeks and yes, it'll get long enough to be flat and soft. It'll suck for a while, but it'll work!

The best thing you can do while the hair is growing back in is keep washing it with a good shampoo.

Hi, I shaved my arms a while ago even though my mom said it was a bad idea. I regretted it because poeple asked me about it at school, so I stopped. It now appears to be just the same as before. I'm not sure how long it took, but only about a week till no one noticed it. I didn't really pay attention while it was growing back, but now I'm proud of my blond arm hair lol
