true........ u keep the dead ends off, promotes healthy hair from root to ends, thus making hair healthier and stronger, which makes it grow faster. But how fast is faster for hair??? That varies for the individual and genetics plays a major role. But if ur hair is in a healthy state vs an unhealthy state, it will grow faster, thicker and longer. I have no idea, but it definitely worked for me. My hair was pass my shoulders. I got it cut in a short bob, to about half way down my neck. A year later it was longer that before I cut it. It had been stuck at the same length forever, but the cut seemed to make it grow a lot.
