Someone told me that if you take a vitamin e softgel, pop it, and put the gel on your scalp, it will make your hair grow. Has anyone tried this or know of a website that proves this to be true?

this is not true...nothing u put 'on' your hair or scalp will help it grow. it grows from the inside out.
so if you want your hair to grow you need to take a multivitamin or pre-natal vits...they work awesome!!!

Vitamin E and Vitamin B....Biotin specifically. You can even get shampoos at the health store with biotin as well as conditioners and supplements. It worked for me.

Not really, vitamin is mostly for mature dry skin. Vitamin B is better for hair growth. I used Biotin for my hair and worked really well. Using a combination of Biotin and Niacin expedites hair growth and makes it thicker as well. Biotin can be found at walmart and costs about 2-3 bucks. Niacin can also be found in walmart or any other drug store and costs about 2-4 bucks. Enjoy!

You have to take (swallow) B Complex vitamins, mainly Biotin. They have Hair, Skin, and Nails vitamins at the local supplement stores (or try online). Eating a healthy diet, getting plenty of water and rest doesn't hurt. And your hair will grow at whatever rate it grows at.
