Why doesnt my hair grow =\??

i had it cut to about like almost my shoulders but longer my hair use to be really long well up to my bra line and my hair dresser ruined it by messing it up so anyways i got it cut like 3-4 months ago and its not growing that fast. How can i make it grow faster and why wont it grow fast its still up to my shoulders and a bit more. I have quite a lot of split ends but i just got rid of A LOT so will it make my hair grow faster or something cause i really miss my old hair and how will it take aprox to make it to my bra line again i bet about a year but can i get it longer before that? and thanks =)

Why doesnt my hair grow =\??

Hair grows approximately 3/4 of an inch a month. So it will probably take six months or better to get to your bra line. There isn't a lot you can do to make hair grow faster, but keeping the split ends cut helps, because when the ends are split, the hair can break further up the hair shaft. Be patient, and you'll have long hair again, but it seems like it only grows when you don't want it to, like bangs, for instance. My hair dresser told me to eat a lot of veggies when I wanted my hair longer. She asked me if it helped, when I next got my hair styled. I told her the only thing I noticed was that I had to shave my legs more often:)

I have the same problem I am trying to grow mine, I've been told to brush it heaps, and use a strong bristle brush to stimulate the scalp to encourage growth. The last thing you want to hear is to trim it often when you are trying to grow it, but strangely it does work. I'm guessing that in six months you will notice a difference if you do the above.

Cutting the split ends helped greatly. Other than that, there's not much you can do. People say carrots make your hair grow but I don't know XD Continue to measure it once in a while to see if it has grown.

Hair does not grow faster just because you trim it. Trimming it makes it shorter.

What trimming does is make it grow healthier.

Hair also grows about half an inch each month - on average. You can wash your hair a lot and straighten it repeatedly to make it "stretch" out. This works, but it damages the elasticity in your hair because it is "stretching" the hair, making it look longer.

I used to to that when I was younger.

Wash and comb a lot while it's damp. It has to be done a lot to get it to stretch.

I honestly think you need to just wait and let it grow back on its own. It will grow, just not as fast as you'd like.

Also, don't trim too much - do it every once in a while. Trimming it too much will just make it shorter.

I'm not exactly sure how to make your hair grow faster but i do know that your hair grows a half an inch every month and it would take about one year to grow 6 inches of hair so my suggestion would be to just give it time and your hair should be back to where it was

On an average, hair grows at the rate of 6 inches annually. The secret formula for hair growth is to see that hair remains healthy. Try http://solutionsforhairgrowth.blogspot.c... for more details.
