ok this will sound crazy but i swear it works.
One way hair grows is by blood stimulation in the head. they have those head massagers (the wire spider looking things) and they feel amazing, they get your blood flowing and help your hair grow. my hair grows relatively fast, but my boyfriend loves my hair and runs his finger through my hair and all that and i swear up and down since then my hair grows 1/3 faster. i've also heard hair pulling makes your hair grow faster. but not in singles, like taking a hand full of hair (near the root) and gently tugging works. Don't pull to where it hurts or yanks any hair out, but just gently tugging from the scalp.

you can try doing all those things people said. i heard that blood flow does actually help as well and getting dead ends trimmed frequently since they grow better that way. but on average hair grow 1/2 inch every month- IF you're lucky.
