Why does hair grow 'down there?'?

Why does hair thicker than the legs yet thinner than on the head grow down there? Whats the purpose of hair down there anyway?

Why does hair grow 'down there?'?

It's there for a purpose! Although many women (and men) get waxed down there, the hair actually helps to keep the area clean and protected.. think of how a moustache traps food crumbs, similar to that. These days though, most of the civilised world are pretty good with hygiene so I guess its lost its purpose somewhere along the way.

Why does hair grow 'down there?'?

Hair is required to make the 'fluids' stay there for sometime, so that they help in procreation. Moreover, you know, the inclination of hair 'down there' for females and males is in opposite direction. That is, for males it's upwards and for females it's downwards. This is a natural way of helping the creation of progeny by making the requisite 'liquids' flow in the direction that is required.

Why does hair grow 'down there?'?

I think it was for protection of the skin/genitals, decoration (that you had reached sexual maturity) and to waft pheremones around. It also absorbs moisture and I think that in turn can lead to a decreaes in stuff like fungal infections.c

Why does hair grow 'down there?'?

you get hair down there for the same reason it grows up there!

Why does hair grow 'down there?'?

1. Thermal regulation

2. To diminish friction during sex

3. To keep bacteria and infections out from the genitals

It has to be thick to be strong, and not too thick to be comfortable.

Why does hair grow 'down there?'?

GROW UP.
