i am black so my hair is natural, natural meaning short and not silky( like my avatar). i need my hair to grow longer fast. its been three years since i cut it and i need it to grow

i thank GOD u asked that question ,although my hair length is okay,but i need it to grow wayyyyyy longer but all i know is dat if u cut ur hair,it grows faster.but i just can't afford to cut ma hair,i luv it too much.well some people are just blessed with long hair while others aren't,but it can't remain d same length 4eva,it'll eventually grow i guess.but some people say that if u keep using that hair cream called dax,ur hair will grow longer.

It sounds crazy but not cutting it gives you split ends wich makes your hair not grow .What I would suggest is get a trim then take extra good care of your hair try not to use blowdryers,straightners,curlers etc.

well regardless the only way that you are ever going to get it to grow is to keep it trimmed. every 6-8 weeks at the longest. keeping the ends clean will prevent split ends and breakage.

if you continue not to cut it then all it is doing is self cutting it's self so to speak. a split hair will only get shorter by splitting more. and the only cure for a split end is to CUT IT OFF!

and patience....there is nothing else....no matter what remedy someone will tell you or stuffing your face will vitamins will not do anything either. and products, they can only mask the ends, not correct them.

you can do some deep conditioning treatments to moisturize the hair. that can help with preventing some of the splitting. NOT HOT OIL...all this does is coat the hair. no mayo, the molecules are not small enough to penetrate the hair.

i think that has covered ever possible crazy "myth" of an answer you could get.
